About Stella Violano
Stella Violano is a California artist known for her paintings of landscapes, historic subjects, seascapes and animals. A lifelong Ventura County resident, she has drawn attention to the plight of homeless animals through her art and was a cofounder of the Mountain Aire Animal Shelter and Art Helping Animals. Currently she works as the resident Creative Pro of Art and Design for Apple and teaches traditional oil and acrylic painting classes and workshops in Thousand Oaks.
Her passion is pigments and the history and preservation of art in all forms. "It is the duty of an artist to create their vision and interpretation in their art. We are historians- preserving not just an image but the emotion therein"
